Among other things, the company will present the particularly rugged, decentralized frequency inverter SK 180 E - NORDAC BASE with protection class IP69K, in Frankfurt am Main. The frequency inverters are, for instance, used in the packaging and food industry, as well as for conveying and pumping applications.

Additionally, NORD brings explosion protected drives for pump applications. The drive systems, consisting of the gear unit, motor, and frequency inverter, form master-slave groups which communicate intelligently with each other and thereby monitor or control the complete system.

Aluminum drives with our nsd tupH anti-corrosion treatment offer a corrosion resistant surface similar to that of stainless steel and industrial gear units for heavy-duty applications in a UNICASE complement the range of products from the North German manufacturer.
