iba 2018: Food grade drive units by NORD DRIVESYSTEMS

Agitators, conveyor systems, weighing and filling plants or packaging machinery: NORD DRIVESYSTEMS offers efficient and hygienic drive solutions for the bakery industry. They will be displayed at iba in Munich from September 15 to 20, 2018.

For use in demanding environments, such as the bakery industry, the company has developed the nsd tupH anti-corrosion treatment for aluminum drives. This way, drive units , smooth body motors, frequency inverters and motor starters by NORD can be placed in corrosion-resistant, washdown optimized housings and thus provide an economical alternative to stainless steel geared motors.

Moreover, NORD drive units can be controlled individually, for example, to regulate kneading and conveyor speeds and to prevent blockages - for complete control the dough process. Additionally, the manufacturer’s innovative inverter technology guarantees high positioning accuracy and reliable implementation of dynamic sequences. Due to their modular structure and their plug-in capability, the drive units are very service and maintenance friendly.
