New Products and Booth Unveiled at Pack Expo

NORD Gear Corporation unveiled a new trade show booth at PACK EXPO in October. The event is the world’s largest packaging trade show, attracting 50,000+ professionals from global consumer packaged goods brands, manufacturers and retailers.

More than 100 customers stopped by the booth to see the products displayed:

• The LOGIDRIVE® solution – high efficiency gearboxes, IE4 permanent magnet synchronous motors and decentralized variable frequency drives .
• NSD TUPH™ products – a cost-effective alternative to stainless steel, our aluminum alloy surface conversion solution is ideal for harsh environments involving chemicals or wash-downs, and where sanitation and cleanliness are the highest priority.
• New Helical Worm – the redesigned two-stage SK 02040.1 gear unit is ideal for conveyors in food and beverage, bottling, manufacturing, warehousing and packaging applications. It is made from high-strength aluminum alloy, and features a new universal mounting design.
• GRIPMAXX™ – this bushing system offers keyless interchangeable bushings for mounting NORD hollow shaft reducers onto a wide range of driven solid machine shaft sizes.

During the event, Tony Grimaldi, Director of Engineering & Technical Services at Scentsy, stopped by the NORD booth. He won a brand new 128GB iPad in our give-away raffle.

Plus, the trade media visited with NORD executives, salesmen and engineers to learn about the newest drive solutions. The media included: Dave Friedman from Power Transmission Engineering, Dave Fusaro from Food Processing, Maya Norris from ProFood World, Casey Laughman from Food Engineering, and Lisa Eitel from Design World magazines.
