Frequency inverters, motor starters and field distributors
- Check the mains voltage and if necessary the control voltage (depending on the frequency inverter type).
- If necessary return the frequency inverter to the manufacturer for testing.
- Determine the cause of the switch on block via parameter (P700[3]) and the manual.
- Set automatic starting in P428 to "On", note the information in the manual.
- Check the motor data and match them with those on the type plate as necessary.
- Check the motor and the motor cable.
- Reduce the load.
- Check the precise error message via P700[1] and use the further remedial measures in the manual.
- If necessary return the frequency inverter to the manufacturer for testing.
- Check the load and speed, if necessary allow the motor to cool down or use an external fan.
- Check the thermistor resistance (TF≈200Ω/20C) and the connection.
- Bridge the thermistor input if it is not used.
- Increase the ramp time in P103.
- Use the V/f characteristic curve by setting parameters P211/212 to 0%.
- Use a suitable brake resistor.
- If necessary, adapt P217 (e.g. 200%).
- Determine the error code from the flashing code of the DS LED or read it out from P700. Then determine the suitable remedial measure from the manual.
- Check the input voltage, one phase may be missing.
- Check the encoder connection and the direction of rotation via P735; change P301 as necessary.
- Check the BUS telegram from the external PLC.
