Energy-efficient drive solutions for intralogistics

High demands are placed on drives for intralogistics: Not only do they have to be powerful and energy-efficient, they are also expected to be low in maintenance and have a long service life.

NORD DRIVESYSTEMS has many years’ experience in producing complete drive solutions for a wide range of applications in intralogistics that meet these requirements.

During their decades of market presence, NORD acquired comprehensive know-how in the field of intralogistics and airport technology and knows the industry's requirements well. On the basis of this experience, NORD's engineers developed a series of drive solutions specially tailored to the requirements of intralogistics.

Their most recent innovation is the LogiDrive system which consists of standardised, highly efficient drive units with energy-saving IE4 synchronous motors. The motors achieve rated powers of up to 5.5 kW and are combined with two-stage helical bevel gear units. Standardisation helps users make considerable savings in spare part stocks and service during the product’s entire life cycle (TCO).

Since IE4 motors meet the strictest efficiency regulations and achieve high efficiency even in partial load ranges, users benefit from the drives’ low energy consumption. Thanks to the system's modular design, maintenance costs can be significantly reduced.

NORD assembles drive solutions consisting of motors, gear units and electronics – specially tailored to their customers’ needs and designed to cater for the special requirements of the application.
