Drive Solutions for Hygienic Production - nsd tupH surface treatment

From 22 to 24 May 2018 NORD DRIVESYSTEMS will be presenting its high performance corrosion resistant surface treatment for aluminium drives at SPS IPC Drives Italia in Parma.

Aluminium drives which are treated with nsd tupH have corrosion resistance which is similar to stainless steel, but are much lighter in weight and cheaper. Unlike paint or coatings, the protective layer does not flake off. The treatment is not applied to the surface, but rather permanently bonds to the material. Thanks to smooth surfaces, the drives can be cleaned extremely quickly and easily. They are not harmed by the use of high pressure cleaners and aggressive media (regardless of whether these are acids or alkalis). Wherever there are extreme conditions, corrosive media or a harsh climate, nsd tupH drives are a robust and durable alternative to stainless steel.

Unlike stainless steel, where users are usually restricted to only a few models, the nsd tupH protected aluminium versions of NORD gear units are available in a wide selection of tried and tested and thermally safe products.
