NORD at the Tire Technology 2019

NORD DRIVESYSTEMS' extensive product range also includes innovative industry-specific drive solutions for the tyre industry: At the Tire Technology 2019, the focus will include LogiDrive systems, special extruder flanges and the PROFIsafe interface module NORD SK TU4-PNS.

From March 5-7, 2019 Europe's major tyre technology exhibition will be held in Hanover - NORD will be attending this exhibition. Among other things, NORD will be presenting service and maintenance friendly plug-and-play technology with ultimate levels of efficiency and reliability. The modular LogiDrive systems | PDF (703 KB) consist of an energy saving IE4 synchronous motor with rated powers of up to 5.5 kW, a two-stage helical bevel gear unit and a NORDAC LINK frequency inverter which is installed close to the motor.

The extruder flanges can safely absorb the forces involved in the process. For the MAXXDRIVETM industrial gear units in sizes 5 to 11 with rated torques from 15 kNm up to 80 kNm, the NORD range includes extruder flanges for extremely high axial forces.

"Safety first" is particularly significant for the operation of plant and machinery. Therefore, as a supplement to its frequency inverters NORD offers the PROFIsafe module NORD SK TU4-PNS with integrated STO and SS1 with which safety functions can be implemented.
